Upon following his father’s footsteps and entering the business in 2012, LV Plummer Jr believed wholeheartedly that he was meant to be a catalyst of progress for the Plummer Financial firm. Early in his career, he decided to set the practice on a path towards the future by introducing new and exciting services that would help our clients have a deeper and more holistic experience. By bringing fresh perspectives and a host of new client-facing technologies to the company, he is driven every day by one objective: To enhance the Plummer Financial Services experience for all who encounter it.

L.V. Plummer Jr., CFP®, MBA is a native of Memphis, TN who practices as an Investment Advisor Representative and Certified Financial Planner ™ Practitioner at Plummer Financial Services located in the Southeast area of Memphis, TN.
L.V. earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. He began his career as a Junior Associate with Plummer Financial Services in 2012 under the mentorship of his father and president of the company. Later in 2013, L.V. passed the Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA licensing exams, which enabled him to become an Investment Advisor Representative.

In 2014, L.V. was named A.C.E. “Best in Class” in his very first year of practice. This award, given by John Hancock Financial Network, recognizes the success of new financial advisors during their first three years with the company. He was also recognized by The Tri-State Defender, a local Memphis publication, who named L.V. as the 2014 “Best Financial Advisor”.

In May of 2015, L.V. earned his M.B.A from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. During his studies, he focused on Finance as well as Economics.

After completing the CFP® Board’s rigorous certification process in 2016, he earned the rights to carry the CFP™ marks and to hold himself out as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner. CFP® Professionals are required to satisfy various requirements set forth by the CFP® Board including education, examination, experience, and ethics. CFP® Certification represents the highest standard of excellence in the arena of financial advising, and is one of the most widely respected designations in the industry.

L.V. is driven to use the skills and knowledge that he has acquired through his years of intensive study and experience to help clients attain financial prosperity for themselves, their families, and future generations.

He is actively involved with the community by participating in various philanthropic, non-profit, and church-related activities. L.V. is also a member of the Memphis Urban League of Young Professionals, which seeks to promote the development of young, emerging professionals in the greater Memphis area through social and community initiatives.

LV and his wife Zipporah have recently welcomed their very first child to their family, Olivia Nadine Plummer. Together, they enjoy traveling the world, sports, cooking, and spending time with family.
